Dad's Diary June 8 & 9

June 8

1934 - The weather is a little better. Bud beat me at Box hockey. Louie, Jack, Burk, Revea and I went horse-bqack riding.

1935 - Went fishing today. Kay is still in bed. They are going to have a big time at HeHe tonight.

1936 - Hi ate dinner with us today. Caught a large trout in the turn below the house.

1937 - Lots of rain this evening. A lot cooler also. Kay got $72.00 for horses.

1938 - Was rainy and cold today. Nurse was up. Biff and wife were here.

June 9

1934 - Wonderful day. Stantons and I went fishing this PM. A nice Dolly got away from me.

1935 - Kay and I have been married two months. Had a fire behind the cabin. Didn't do any better at fishing today.

1936 - Got paid $32.00. Have a tooth ache. Caught up my bill at Massey's.

1937 - Cloudy and a few showers. Reading our new book "Wildfire." Got paid $32.00.

1938 - Went over and got a hair cut from Charley. Warmed up a little this evening. Got a 12" redside aove the pond.
