Dad's Diary June 1

1934 - 22 new men (Conservation Corps - m) Am going to stay at Jane's tonight. Not a bad day today.
1935 - Last night, coming back from 1st aid class, at HeHe (where the camp was - m), Dr. Johnstone and I got stuck. He came to see Kay but she is in bed now. Pay day.
Well, things don't look so bad. I am to get $45 at Schoolie (ranger station - m), and a pretty good house.
1936 - Got my check for $37.20. Went to Redmond - paid our bill and got some more groceries at Hartley's.
1937 - Painted today. Was pretty warm today. Kay's sister and brother-in-law are here. Read "Forget You Never" by Margaret Gorman Nichols.
1938 - Bull Wewa helped me. I caught a Dolly (Varden fish -m) in the dam yesterday.
