Dad's Diary June 6

1934 - Windy today. Lost and won again at rummy.

1935 - Kay is better today. They are not going to open Schoolie. Was talking to Hi Smith about getting on the PWA at Beaver.

1936 - Kay, baby and I went fishing up Shitike and got caught in thunder storm. Worst rain storm I've seen.

1937 - Lenard, Roy H. and I fished in the Warm Springs River. I caught 12. Rode over in a Model T truck.

1938 - Went for our check. Ate lunch at Mill Creek. Walt White and family are with us. Fishing not so good.

NOTE: Kay is my mother, Catherine. My granddaughter, Cadence Catherine Tippett, is named after her. When you are newly married, you use a real name, after a few years and a few kids, you become Mom.

Hi Smith is Hiram Smith, brother to my grandfather, Wesley Smith.

Walt White is the father of my sister-in-law, Myrna.

My parents married in 1935. Their first baby, my brother Terry Jr., was born in 1936.
