The other father - Ray Shaw

My father-in-law was the best grandpa! Our kids just loved him and frequently thought he was hilarious! Especially when he tipped the rocking chair over backwards while holding a mug of ice water; then there was the time he showed them how to pinch off a firecracker so it wouldn't go off - except it went off! He looked like a cartoon character - black fingers - hair on end, but the worst part for him, even worse than the burn, was Grandma Phyllis getting mad at him "Raymond what are you teaching those kids!" Cousin Wayne Thompson send this picture of Raymond:

I especially like this picture because it shows him cooking - he made the very best, fluffy pancakes! We sure do miss him! Thanks, Wayne!
